Enhanced WebMail [recommended] New Enhanced webmail has a number
of new features which include being faster and easier to use and support for
Safari and Opera. Why are there two sign-in options and what is cipher? Secure mode encrypts your login and viewing of messages to prevent others from reading your messages while they are in transit. Secure mode uses industry-standard SSL encryption, the same technology used in e-commerce transactions. Standard mode While secure mode provides SSL encryption, pages will take longer to download. To achieve quicker response times, choose this mode. Cipher option means that your username and password is encrypted. This really is only necessary in Standard mode since no encryption is used in this mode. Secure mode is always secure, so this option is not needed for that. |
